Future of Urban Living

What does the future of urban living in Richmond look like? As someone who has lived in Richmond and been in the real estate industry since the early 1980s, I am seeing that the city continues to get better and better as time goes on. The neighborhoods, buildings, and quality of life continue to improve in fantastic ways. The areas that people wouldn’t go into 20 years ago are now up-and-coming neighborhoods where people can afford to buy their first homes.

I am also continuing to see more renovations and new builds going in. 20 years ago, it was almost impossible to sell a lot in some of these neighborhoods and now the lots are selling for large amounts of money and we are seeing more new construction.

As the city continues to change and grow, I see more improvement happening and I believe that the future of urban living in Richmond is very positive.
