February Market

We are about a month and a half in to 2024 and the big question people keep asking me is “will there be more inventory in the spring?”. I’m sure in more suburban markets that are further out like Chesterfield and Henrico there will most likely be more listings. In the city, I hope there will be more to come. The Fan, Museum District, and Near West End don’t have as much of a “seasonal market” as most would like to think they do.

We are seeing a little more inventory, but it is still dribbling on. Houses are still selling quickly and selling high. I think every negotiation I have participated in since the beginning of the year has been a multiple offer situation. So it sounds like we have more of what we had in 2023.
